While Hyundai has been unlucky for the past two attempts that it has made in the SUV segment, with the launch of Santa Fe planned for October this year, the company is expecting to be third time lucky in the domestic market.

As the industry watchers expect the product to be priced in the range of Rs 22-24 lakh, it has been learned that the company is targeting the festive season in October for the launch.

In fact, Hyundai motors India's Director – Sales & Marketing, Arvind Saxena said that the company is looking at the month of October as the month of launch for the SUV Santa Fe in the Indian market.

While the product will initially come as a CBU in the domestic circuit, but Saxena also said that if the market responds to the product as expected by the company, it may consider the option of assembling it locally.

It is to be mentioned here that the upcoming SUV from the door of Hyundai will be a seven-seater model which is a step ahead of the earlier launched five-seater models from the Indian market.
