Vodafone's recent pronouncement sees Samsung Wave up for sale, by pre-order from the site.

This supposed answer to the iPhone platform sports the all new Bada operating system, and the TouchWiz interface.

It sports a 3.3 inch AMOLED touchscreen, 1GHz processor, a 5 megapixel camera, 2GB of storage, GPS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

It boasts of virtual 5.1 surround with HD display, which appears to be an appealing factor.

Available on pre-order from Vodafone the tariffs start from £25 per month for 2 years, which encompasses 300 minutes, unlimited texts, and 500MB of mobile Internet.

In case of an 18 month contract the call tariffs start from £30 per month. In addition to this Samsung offers its users an option to tweak and customise their phone.

As the site lists out the smartphone is expected to ship on June 1st.
