Samsung-Guru1175Samsung has launched its entry level hand set Guru 1175 in the "very low-cost" mobile phone segment market.

It is believed that this base set is going to give a tough time to the Vodafone's below Rs 1,000 phone. As it is well-designed, performance oriented phone that comes entailed with a dash of basic features. It has an ergonomic grip that enables the phone to comfortably rest on palm.

Guru 1175 has a bright torch that can light up to 38 hours and operates in Bike-mode, which means only important calls can be taken while riding a bike. Selected contacts can be added to the calling list while the rest gets the user busy response.

An automated answering can be set for convenience, as calls can be instantly connected via the handset without any need for a manual press of a button. Remaining features stick common to any basic handset.

The only aspect which will be worth noticing is whether it will be appreciated in the current market where there is a constant surge in smartphone industry and upcoming models like X2 serve the mid-range with commendable features.
