The Samsung Delve phone has been launched in US by Samsung Delve Phone Alltel Wireless. Apart from being stylish and vibrant, the phone also supports an intuitive interface. A virtual QWERTY keyboard and TouchWiz interface that supports widgets, adds to its other exciting features.

The integrated drag-and-drop widgets on the screen provided by the Samsung Delve let the users to instantly access their favorite functions directly from the screen. Other than this, the users can also change the main display screen according to the icons of the application.

“The Samsung Delve boasts a new, powerful user interface using ‘widgets’ customers can drag and drop to configure their phone. It offers a new level of control and convenience,” informed Brian Ullem, vice president of device strategy for Alltel Wireless.

MP3 player, 2.0 mega-pixel camera with video capabilities, Bluetooth capabilities, support for an expandable MicroSD memory slot and 3.5 millimeter headset jack are also its high end functionality features.

“The touchscreen phone comes pre-loaded with various applications from Alltel such as Alltel Pic Transfer, Alltel Mobile Advisor, City Id, Collapse Chaos and Wallpaper Universe that makes the Samsung Delve a must-buy phone,” added Ullem.

An additional battery, stylus, soft protective case, travel charger, stereo headset and a PC data cable come along in the box with Delve.

A price tag of $199.99 (approx. Rs. 9,850) is carried by the Samsung Delve phone after $100 mail in rebate.
