Samsung has come up with its latest smartphone- Champ, which appears to be value for money product.

Champ entails a 2.4 inch QVGA touchscreen display, a 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, a built-in FM radio with a dual speaker and “3D sound effects”.

This wallet friendly budget based product doesn't come with either 3G or Wi-Fi, though it has TouchWiz Lite for its User Interface.

Vice President of Mobile Marketing at Samsung, Younghee Lee, stated that the release of Samsung Champ will further strengthen its position in the touch screen handset category.

Also, Champ serves comes in handy for those who want to snap up a full touch phone for the first time.

The exact date of release has been posed as June, with the exact details on pricing yet to be confirmed, one can always expect it to be a within reach model.
