Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar has joined the online social platform Twitter. This has been a new field for Sachin after conquering the cricket field with more than thirty thousand runs in his career. But the difference over here is now his fans can communicate directly with him.

However, before Sachin some other great personalities and celebrities in the country have also joined this social networking site.

Twitter has been the hub of celebrities. Sachin's Twitter ID is sachin_rt. In his first tweet, Sachin has written that finally the original SRT is on twitter. He has also conveyed his wishes to the Indian cricket team now at West Indies of the Twenty 20 World Cup.

Then he has received a warm welcome on Twitter by Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty who said finally the God is now in Twitter. In another tweet one of Sachin's fans has written that at the stroke of the midnight when most Indians were sleeping, Sachin joined Twitter.
