Rs 300 crore ISB campus in Mohali The Indian School of Business (ISB) has decided to set up second campus of business school in Mohali. Rs. 300 crore campus would be the first campus in northern region and it is expected to be operational by 2012. ISB's first campus is located in Hyderabad. Punjab government has decided to extend every help for this prestigious education institution. It would lease 70 acre of prime land in Mohali for 99 years at Re 1 per acre annually.

Out of total Rs 300 crore, Rs. 50 cror each would be invested by Analjit Singh, CMD of Max India, Rakesh Bharti Mittal, VCMD of Bharti Enterprises, Sunil Kant Munjal, MD & CEO of Hero Corporate Service and chairman of the Punj Lloyd Group, Atul Punj. Remaining Rs 100 crore will be invested by the board of Indian School Of Business. All founder members are confined to their role in curriculum design and staff recruitments. They would not intervene in the academic affairs of business school.

The school would have 280 seats for its Post Graduate Program (PGP) and several short-duration executive education programs to produce around 750 highly skilled professionals. It would have highly skilled permanent faculty of 15-20 professors apart from gust faculty from Hyderabad campus. ISB dean, M Rammohan Rao said that two-way video conferencing lectures between the two campuses would also start for better sharing of knowledge. The Wharton School and Kellogg School of Management would support Mohali ISB for academic affairs.
