Rolls-Royce launches new version of its ‘Ghost' modelLuxury car maker, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has announced the launch of a new model of the iconic luxury car ‘Ghost' model featuring extended wheelbase in the Indian market.

The new model offers the best cabin space with the driver dynamic as well as an impressive panoramic sunroof. The new extended wheelbase version ‘Ghost' model will be priced at from Rs. 3.04 crore in the Indian market compared to standard Ghost that came with a starting price of Rs. 2.07 crore.

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Regional Director for Asia-Pacific, Paul Harris said, “India is one of the key markets for us. Globally, it is in the top 10 markets for us and entering the top 5.” He was speaking at an event marking the opening of a new showroom in the Indian capital, Delhi.

Rolls-Royce has said that it is aiming to make India one of its top five markets in sales globally. The company had sold 2,711 units worldwide last year. Its top five markets included U. S., China, the U. K., the UAE and Japan.

He also said Rolls-Royce was targeting 100-unit sales a year in India and affirmed that it was possible. The company had re-entered the Indian market in 2005 and now offers ‘Phantom' and ‘Ghost' models in India.
