RJD-LJP to contest all seats in Bihar
New Delhi, Mar 22 : Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief and Union Railway Minister Lalu Prasad on Sunday said that his party and the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) would contest all seats in Bihar.
"The RJD and the LJP will contest all seats in Bihar," Prasad said.
Prasad, however, said that he has no rift with the Congress.
"If UPA returns to power it''s good otherwise there will be some other name," he added.
The RJD and the LJP had earlier left three seats for the Congress in Bihar, but now Prasad declared to contest all 40 seats in the state.
When asked about his choice for the post of Prime Minister, Lalu said he would support Manmohan Singh for the topmost seat.
The Railway Minister also spoke about Varun Gandhi's communal remarks in Pilibhit few days ago.
"If I were the Home Minister, I would have sent him to jail," he said. (ANI)
