Reliance Communications ties knot with BBC World ServiceAnil Ambani-led Reliance Communications has entered into a strategic alliance with BBC World Service.

The new partnership will see BBC World Service content available live across India through the medium of mobile phones.

The company stated in a communiqué that through this agreement, Reliance Mobile users will now be able to listen to BBC World Service news in a choice of 5 different languages.

Under the arrangement, BBC World Service will offer news in English, which will switch to Hindi at 6.30am, 8.00am, 7.30pm and 10.30 pm; Tamil, at 09.15pm; Urdu, at 7.00am,
8.30 pm and 11.00pm, and Bangla, at 5.00 am, 6.00 am and 6.00pm.
