Reliance Brands to introduce Steve Madden in IndiaMukesh Ambani led Reliance Industries' venture, Reliance Brands completed talks with global fashion label Steve Madden for an exclusive licensing pact. Reliance Brands said that they have entered pact to introduce the American brand in India.

The company plans to launch 10 exclusive stores all across India. Beginning from this year only, company will launch first two of its stores in Delhi and Mumbai.

Reliance Brands CEO and President Darshan Mehta said about their launch pattern, "Reliance Brands is planning to open 20 exclusive stores of Steve Madden in the next three years. This year, we will set up two stores in Delhi and Mumbai".

Among Steve Madden range of brands, Reliance Brands stores will sell branded women's fashion accessories and footwear. Brand will target women aging from 16 to 40 years and will offer them cutting-age fashion range.

At present, the company will not be selling products for men. Company will be selling products under four brands 'Steven', 'Steve Madden', 'Madden Girl' and 'Big Buddha'. Mehta said that they will to introduce this leading global brand to Indian customers. Brand's unique fashionable products will soon become 'mindset' of Indians. Steve Medden CEO, Edward Rosenfeld said that India's diverse market is of their target and with Reliance Brands they are committed for long-term association.
