Stockholm - Although US giant General Motors aims to sell its Swedish subsidiary Saab, the two groups have agreed to cooperate in future, financial daily Dagens Industri reported Wednesday.

Saab last month filed for bankruptcy protection while it attempts to reorganize its business. That move came after GM said it planned to shed the brand as part of its restructuring efforts.

Stockholm - Swedish heavy vehicle maker Volvo on Tuesday reported a 51 per cent drop in year-on-year truck deliveries for February.

In all, the group delivered 10,863 vehicles.

The decline impacted all markets except Africa, where deliveries were higher than a year ago, the group said.

In Europe, demand remained low, and deliveries fell 68 per cent. However, the drop was 90 per cent in Eastern Europe.

The Volvo group does not include the Ford-owned car division.

Stockholm  - Swedish Crown Princess Victoria is set to marry on June 19, 2010, the palace said Monday, noting that the date had a "long tradition" in the ruling Bernadotte family.

Victoria, 31, and her boyfriend Daniel Westling, 35, last month announced their engagement ending years of speculation over the couple that has been been dating since
2002.

Her parents, King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia, also married on June 19 in 1976.

Falun, Sweden  - Switzerland's Dario Cologna on Sunday became the youngest World Cup winner in 25 years after winning the season finale in Sweden's Falun.

The women's World Cup title went to Poland's Justyna Kowalczyk who secured the season finale in the 10-km handicap race.

Cologna, 23, finished first in the 15-kilometre handicap to win both the four-race season-finale and the World Cup title.

He finished on 1,344 points, ahead of Norwegians Petter Northug (1,217) and Ola Vigen Hattestad (792).

Falun, Sweden  - Dario Cologna of Switzerland won the men's double pursuit over 10 kilometres in the Nordic ski World Cup finals in Falun on Saturday.

Marcus Hellner of Sweden clinched second place ahead of Tobias Angerer of Germany.

The women's double pursuit over 5 kilometres went to Riitta-Liisa Roponen of Finland.

Cologna boosted his chances of winning the overall World Cup with victory in the classic and freestyle techniques in 54 minutes 59.5 seconds. Hellner was 1.7 seconds behind, with Angerer 2.4 seconds back.
