Missing Hussain suspected to join militant organisation

Jammu and KashmirRajouri (Jammu and Kashmir), Mar 22 : Khadim Hussain, a teenager from Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district, reportedly missing for the past three years, is now suspected to have been lured by militants to join their outfit.

Khadim had quit school in July 2005 and went missing afterwards.

After a few months his family heard a rumour that Khadim has been forcibly recruited by an unknown militant organisation.

Suleiman Hussain, Khadim's father hopes that his son has taken up some productive vocation and not fallen as a prey to the militants.

Voting continues peacefully in J-K

Ganderbal/ Rajouri (J-K), Nov 23 : People in Ganderbal and Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir cast their votes on Sunday during the second phase of the scheduled seven-phased assembly elections in the state.

The voting in two constituencies of Ganderbal and four constituencies of Rajouri districts are taking place a day after two people including a teenage boy were shot dead by troops during anti-elections protest in Baramullah town, some 55 kilometers from Srinagar.

Sunday''s voting will decide the fate of 22 candidates including state''s former ruling party National Conference’s chief Omar Abdullah.

Surprisingly ten seats, which went to polls on November 17 across Jammu and Kashmir, saw a high turnout of 64 per cent.

The cave has three openings. The orientation of the first cave is headed towards Vaishno Devi temple at Katra. The second one is in the direction of Amarnath in Pahalgam located in Kashmir valley and the third leads to Buddha Amarnath in Poonch.
