Unity Infraprojects wins order worth Rs 375.25 croreUnity Infraprojects has received an order worth Rs 375.25 crore from Pink City Expressway Pvt. Ltd.

The scope of work involves Widening and Up gradation of Existing 4-Lane Road to 6-Lane Road under Contract Package IV from Km 144+770 (Mardha Village) to Km 181+300 (Antela Village) in the state of Rajasthan.

The order is scheduled to be completed within 30 months.

Major clients in the U. S and U. K have cancelled their orders following which the local markets of sandstone in Rajasthan are facing recession.

About a million people, related to the sandstone industry, are confronted with the possibility of getting badly affected here. The number of people directly or indirectly faced with the crisis amounts to 70 per cent of the total workforce involved in this industry.

Gujarat’s eco-friendly Oreva motorbike to reach other States very soon

Ajanta LimitedRajkot (Gujarat), Oct. 27 : Oreva, an eco-friendly motorbike, which has been indigenously designed and manufactured by a Morbi-based Ajanta Limited Co. of Gujarat, is all set to hit the roads in its neighbouring States here.

The company apart from Gujarat has targetted its e-bikes for the States of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Rajasthan.

According to the manufacturers, their trendy looking and battery powered Oreva is the cheapest two-wheeler available in the e-bike segment. The motorbike is battery powered.

Firecracker explosion kills 29 in Rajasthan

The death toll in fire cracker explosion tragedy in Deeg of Bharatpur district has touched 29. It includes 11 children. Several other seriously injured persons have been hospitalized.

The explosion took place at Darukuta Mohalla in Deeg town in the house of two brothers, Sukha and Badle Jatav, while they were making crackers.

Bharatpur superintendent of police Rohit Mahajan said, "Preliminary investigations indicate that the blast might have been caused by a spark while crackers were being manufactured in the house."

Fireworks factory explosion in Bharatpur claims 22 lives including kids

rajasthanBharatpur (Rajasthan), Oct. 23 : At least 22 persons including 12 children died and 35 injured in a tragic explosion that ripped through an illegal fireworks factory at Deeg in Bharatpur region of Rajasthan today.

The explosion took place in a house of a firecracker maker in the Deeg town. The blast caused a major fire, which engulfed a few houses in the neighborhood.

Meanwhile, 10 people allegedly involved in illegal manufacturing of firecrackers were arrested after the explosion at Deeg. The explosion affected six other houses which collapsed due to the impact of blast.
