Warsaw (Poland), Feb. 10 : Perturbed by a video released by the Taliban showing militants beheading a Polish geologist, the Polish Government has vowed to bring the perpetrators of the `inhuman crime' to book.
Warsaw has promised to issue international arrest warrants for Taliban militants who executed Piotr Stanczak in Pakistan, four months after his abduction.
"A crime was committed, so there has to be an investigation, a search for the culprits, and if possible putting them before the justice system and an exemplary punishment," Foreign Minister Radek Sikorski said.
Top Polish officials have also charged elements within the Pakistani Government for the killing, the Dawn said.
