BJP workers protest against lapses in FCI in BiharPatna, Mar 2 : Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers on Monday organised a protest rally against the Food Corporation of India (FCI) for allegedly cheating paddy and wheat farmers.

Marching towards the FCI office here, the protestors threw stones and sleepers on the office. The protestors sought to expose corruption in the FCI. They alleged that the corporation was cheating farmers by manipulating the price and sale of paddy and wheat crops.

They also added that tons of crops are being allowed to rot in the FCI premises.

Patna court to hear 'Slumdog Millionaire' casePatna, Feb 24 (ANI): A court in Patna will today hear a case filed against ''''Slumdog Millionaire'''', in which the petitioner has charged that the title is offensive and derogatory.

On February 18, the court had postponed the hearing till today.

The petition has been filed against music director A R Rahman, actor Anil Kapoor and other Indians associated with the film.

Industry lobby organises marathon for development in Patna

Patna, Feb 22 : Bihar Industries Association (BIA) on Sunday organised an annual marathon Run for Development here.

The marathon attracted people from all walks of life coming out to run for the cause of the state's development.

Apart from the students, young officials and women, physically challenged people also participated in the marathon with utmost zeal.

It was the fourth marathon for Development, which was organized to motivate people to be an active contributor for the State's development.

Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi flagged off the rally and said no force on earth can now stop Bihar's development.
