Abohar, Feb. 20 : Already struggling to restore the world community's confidence in its judicial system since the removal of Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhary, Radio Pakistan is now pointing fingers at the Indian Judiciary through propaganda-based Punjabi Durbar programme.

Radio Pakistan states that justice is not being given to minority groups in India.

However, the Indian judicial fraternity terms the allegation as baseless, ridiculous, and unfounded.

Lahore, Feb. 19 : Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl chief Fazlur Rehman has said the sharia-deal between the NWFP government and the TNSM in Malakand division enjoyed the complete backing of President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani.

Fazl said the pact had been approved after a meeting of representatives of the NWFP government with President Zardari and Prime Minister Gilani, the Daily Times reports.

Earlier, the North West Frontier Province Government had signed a pact with Tehreek-e-Nifaz-e-Shariat Muhammadi leader Maulana Sufi Muhammad on the implementation of `sharia' in the Swat Valley's Malakand division.

Taliban developing a strong ‘terror network’ in KarachiKarachi, Feb. 19 : In association with various local jihadi outfits, the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has developed a strong network in Karachi.

Police sources have told the Daily times that banned sectarian outfits are active in various parts of Karachi and are closely connected with the TTP.

The network of Baitullah Mehsud-led TTP is involved in major illegal activities, and also financially sponsors militancy in Tribal Areas.

Recently arrested associates of Mehsud disclosed the prominent presence of jihadis in Karachi.

In-camera trial for Mumbai attacks suspects held in PakistanIslamabad, Feb. 19: The Pakistan Government has decided to set up an Anti-terrorism Court (ATC) and a sub-office of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) at Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi to conduct an in-camera trial for suspects of the Mumbai terror attacks.

The law ministry had formally approved the setting up of the ATC in Adiala, the Daily Times reported.

Sources claimed that the Interior Ministry had written a letter to the Punjab Government, asking it to facilitate the process.
