Karachi, Feb. 19 : In association with various local jihadi outfits, the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has developed a strong network in Karachi.
Police sources have told the Daily times that banned sectarian outfits are active in various parts of Karachi and are closely connected with the TTP.
The network of Baitullah Mehsud-led TTP is involved in major illegal activities, and also financially sponsors militancy in Tribal Areas.

Other small groups involved in illegal activities such as drug smuggling, car lifting etc are also in contact with the Taliban.
Even some political and ethnic parties are reported to be involved in this network, which help in sending large sums of money to aid the Taliban's bloody-campaign in the Tribal Areas.
