Los Angeles - For nearly two-and-a-half quarters, the Los Angeles Lakers couldn't stop the Dallas Mavericks, until finally figuring it out.
Kobe Bryant scored a season-high 35 points, and the Lakers went on a decisive 17-0 run, bridging the third and fourth quarters en route to their sixth straight victory, 114-107 over the visiting Mavericks on Friday night.
"Tonight was a game where it didn't seem like anything was going our way," said Bryant, who had 23 second-half points. "But we made adjustments and we were able to battle through."
