New Delhi, Apr 3: The All India Forward Bloc (AIFB) cadres on Thursday joined a protest staged by victims of the Bhopal gas tragedy at the Jantar Mantar here.
The victims who have been seeking adequate compensation and rehabilitation were assured by the AIFB that the issue related to the setting up of a special commission to implement rehabilitation schemes and environmental remediation for the survivors to the gas tragedy affected persons would be raised in parliament.
Srinagar, Apr 3: At least nine railway stations in Kashmir Valley are in the construction list of the Railways.
”Anantnag, Baijpora, Pampore, Kakapora, Awantipora, Rajvoser, Srinagar and Budgam and Baramulla places have been chosen as the railway stations,” said sources in the Northern Railways.
Some of these stations have already been constructed and others are in the process of completion, the sources added.
Out of 15 bogies, three engines and track repair vehicle have already been sent to the valley.
