Srinagar, Feb 4: 
Srinagar received fresh snowfall on Monday thereby bringing relief to the residents from the extreme chill that was sweeping the Valley for past few days.
"We are happy after receiving fresh snowfall. Snowfall reduces the intensity of cold. We also get rid of impurities of water. We pray to God for more snowfall," said Imtiyaz, a resident.
Entire Srinagar is under a thick blanket of snow with trees, rooftops, roads and parks covered with excessive snow. Kids enjoyed playing with snowballs.
