Patna, Nov 11 : Bihar Police today seized a huge cache of arms and ammunition from Maoist rebels hiding at Akbarpur village of Makhdumpur block in Jahanabad district.
According to police, after getting a tip-off, they conducted a raid at Chandradeep Yadav''s house in Akbarpur village of Makhdumpur block in Jahanabad district and seized huge quantity of explosives.

Patna, Nov 9 : A court in Patna has fixed November 14 for the hearing of a petition seeking initiation of criminal proceedings against Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray for instigating party activists to assault north-Indian aspirants for railway jobs in Mumbai.
The matter was listed for November 8, but could not be taken up. The Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Patna then decided that it would be heard on November 14.
Bodh Gaya (Bihar), Nov 8: Buddhist monks from across the country participated in a sacred ceremony at Bodh Gaya, one of the most important pilgrim centre of the Buddhists, and prayed for world peace.
The monks made an offering of 500 meters of cloth to Lord Buddha and also prayed for world peace at Bodhgaya, where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment.
Chanting hymns, the monks carried the long sheet of cloth in a ceremony called ''Cheeva Dan'' (offering of monk''s robe) on Friday.
New Delhi, Nov. 7 : Five parliamentarians of Nitish Kumar-led Janata Dal-United party from Bihar have resigned from Lok Sabha as a mark of protest against attacks by hooligans of Raj Thackeray''s Maharashtra Navanirmana Sena (MNS) on people of north Indian origin in Mumbai and Nashik.
This was announced by the aggrieved MPs in New Delhi today.
