Melbourne, April 18 : A plastic surgeon in Queensland has been slapped with a lawsuit after angry ex-patients teamed up to accuse the "expert" of messing up surgery on as many as 22 of them.

Isolde Hertess is facing allegations of having botched numerous medical procedures including breast implants, face-lifts, tummy tucks and liposuction.

According to The Courier-Mail, complaints from several female former patients included inability to close eyelids after a facelift and bad scars and lopsided breasts after boob jobs.

Sydney- Authorities have begun interviewing witnesses to a deadly explosion on a fishing boat carrying 49 Afghan refugees off Australia's west coast as another boat with 100 asylum seekers aboard was heading toward Australia Saturday, news reports said.

Melbourne, Apr 18 : Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman and her husband Keith Urban, who are currently living in their new Bunya Hill mansion in the NSW Southern highlands, have reportedly added four alpacas to their livestock.

Kidman who enjoyed at the Sutton Forest, a few hours drive south of Sydney, went to the nearby Elysion Alpaca farm with daughter Sunday, mother Janelle and friends, and ended up buying four alpacas.

"Within hours of the visit four little alpacas were delivered and they''re now living on the property," News. com. au quoted a source as saying.

Sydney, April 18 : New analysis has indicated that contrary to the belief that there is large-scale melting of ice over most of Antarctica, ice is actually expanding in a large portion of the continent.

Antarctica has 90 per cent of the Earth's ice and 80 per cent of its fresh water. Extensive melting of Antarctic ice sheets would be required to raise sea levels substantially, and ice is melting in parts of west Antarctica.

The destabilisation of the Wilkins ice shelf generated international headlines this month.
