Rediff Rolls Out ‘Web-in-mail’ ServiceOnline portal Rediff.com has made announcement about the launching of its ‘Web-in-mail’ service, which let users to access the internet content using email clients such as MS Outlook, Outlook Express and Thunderbird.

According to Rediff, the ‘web-in-mail’ service can be achieved in two simple steps:

- Firstly, the user has to send an email to browse@webinmail.com with the URL (internet address) of the webpage that he/she wants to access in the subject line.

- After that, the user will receive a mail at once, with the webpage embedded in his/her inbox. By simply clicking on the hyperlink, within the webpage received, composes another mail automatically. On sending this mail, another reply mail is received with a new webpage.

Venki Nishtala, Rediff.com CTO, said, “Web-in-mail will let people, with restricted internet access, to now access internet content.”

The new service, which is available in its beta version, also help users to search the internet wherein users need to send their search query in the subject line and the result mail will be received through email.
