Real Madrid to sack Schuster, say reports
Madrid - Real Madrid are set to dismiss coach Bernd Schuster on Tuesday and replace him with former Sevilla and Tottenham Hotspur coach Juande Ramos, Spanish media reported.
Sports director Predrag Mijatovic has recommended to Real president Ramon Calderon that the German coach be dismissed with immediate effect, according to radio reports.
Real Madrid are to give a news conference at 1330 GMT, the club's website said.
Schuster led Real Madrid to the Primera Liga title last season, but are currently fifth in the table, nine points behind rivals Barcelona. The two clubs meet on Saturday. (dpa)
