In a strategic move to strengthen its position in the United Kingdom’s independent bingo sector, Real Fun Group has announced the acquisition of eight bingo clubs along with their associated retail facilities from Majestic Bingo Limited. The successful acquisition of the bingo facilities deems to be strategic move propelling Real Fun Group's operations to a total of 10 bingo clubs spread across England and Wales. It also marks a significant milestone in the gaming company's quest for industry leadership.

The acquisition, which involved the acquisition of Majestic Bingo Limited out of administration, is expected to have a positive impact on both the expansion of Real Fun Group and the preservation of jobs. More than 140 people set to retain their positions, thanks to the acquisition of the gambling-friendly properties in question. The move also underscores the company’s commitment to supporting the UK’s bingo industry as well as the local communities that are being served by these clubs.

Majestic Bingo entered administration on 7th of July this year, under the direction of Interpath Advisory joint administrators Tim Bateson and Chris Pole. The successful acquisition by Real Fun Group not only ensures the constant operation of all eight clubs but also safeguards employment opportunities.

When asked for a comment, Administrator Bateson said, “We would like to extend our thanks to the many stakeholders who have provided support to the administration team since our appointment, including customers, suppliers and Majestic’s dedicated staff. Their support has enabled us to conclude this transaction which will enable the business to continue under new ownership.”

Kevin McGinnigle, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Real Fun Group, expressed his enthusiasm on the opportunity, and emphasized the resilience of the acquired business in spite of various challenges in the market. The top executive also acknowledged the devastating circumstances that Majestic Bingo encountered and conveyed excitement over his company’s collaboration with the existing team to navigate a successful ownership transition. At present, Real Fun Group has a workforce of nearly 200 people across its ten bingo clubs.
