Ravi Kissan To Make Film On Sher Shah Suri

Bhojpuri superstar Ravi Kissan is all set to make and work in a Hindi movie on Sher Shah Suri, the Bhojpuri Superstar Ravi Kissan initiator of the Suri dynasty.

Bollywood has often produced movies on Muslim leaders but they have been mostly limited to the Mughals.

Now, Ravi is exploring beyond that.

According to sources, Ravi is making discussions with the former Maharaja of Amethi, Sanjay Singh, to lend his lavish residence for the shooting of the film.

The film will explain the lifelong experiences of Sher Shah Suri, who ruled Delhi for a short time. He is credited to have built the Grand Trunk Road (GT Road) during the 16th century that links Bengal to the North West Frontier Province.

The yet-unnamed movie will be shot in Sasaram, Bihar, where Suri was born and where his tomb lies these days.
