Ranbaxy would hire the services of Giuliani Partners to deal with the situation arising, after the banning of some of its products in the US market. It is recalled that the US Food and Drug Administration is not satisfied with the product quality of many of its drugs. It has, earlier banned 31 drugs in the US market. The Indian drug maker Ranbaxy is a major supplier of drugs to the US market. 

Giuliani Partners is a consultancy of Rudy Giuliani, the former mayer of New York and has a strong political influence in the US. Mr Giuliani , a lawyer, a national celebrity and former cancer sufferer has already fought many cases related to drug firms. Ranbaxy said that it has hired the services of Rudy to resolve the matter as soon as possible. The company is also facing charges of adulteration in some of its products and probe is going on in US judicial department. 

The current move of Ranbaxy could not help raise the value of its share price. The shares of company declined by 9 percent and closed at Rs341 on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
