Provogue (India) has announced its fourth quarter financial results for the fiscal year 2009-10 and there is a decline in its net profit. The company has posted a net profit of Rs 3.79 crore for the quarter that ended in 31st March, 2010.

The net profit of the firm was reported to be declined by 54.55% in this quarter against the like period last year. This has been informed by the firm in a filing at the Bombay Stock Exchange.

So far as the total income of the firm is concerned, it has touched Rs 162.98 crore during the January-March period of fiscal year 2009-10. It has Rs 79 crore for the same quarter last year.

The annual consolidated net income of the company was reported to be at Rs 20.98 crore for the year under review from Rs 59.20 crore last year with a decline of 64.56%.

The board has decided to recommend a dividend of Rs 0.20 per equity share on the face value of Rs 2 each to its investors for the financial year 2009-10 subject to the approval of the share holders.
