Porsche Cajun Gears to Take on Range Rover EvoqueIn a bid to take on its arch rival, the three-door Range Rover Evoque, Porsche is all set to make a grand entry with its three-door Prosche Cajun to be launched in two years. Even the German automaker is drafting to launch its five-door version already.

It is believed that the new crossover resembles the 911 design lines and the overall design is somehow taken from the legendary 959 rally-raid racer. However, it has been kept in mind that it should look different in between the herd of other cars.

The new offering is reported to have come under a range of Porsche-tweaked Audi engines, including four cylinder and six-cylinder petrol. However, diesel engines are kept under consideration.

If experts are to be believed, the Company made the decision in March which some or the other way linked with the arrival of the Evoque. With the entry of the new Cajun crossover grabbing eyeballs, its being expected that the Company might get an inch closer to the medium-term target of 150,000 annual sales. Not only this, a lot has been on stake with new venture, as it will decide upon the future of Leipzig Porsche factory that’s being looked as a job creator for at least 100 jobs.
