Ponting being a spoilsport, Modi UpsetIts IPL making the news again. In the country of cricket fans, IPL has emerged as a major event in the country and during the past two events, the impact was phenomenal.

IPL is always in the news for reasons, right and wrong. There were reports that suggested that Australian captain Ricky Ponting has been advising his teammates to back off from the IPL.

Modi on his Twitter page wrote this statement. Modi further showed his entire attitude and reacted to Ponting. Modi wrote on his page that it did not matter if Aussies do not show up at all as they were only to come to India in the last
2 weeks.

Modi further added that security was being fully taken care of and wasn't an issue at all as more important events were going on in the country and a lot of foreign teams were touring the country. He also stated that all the nations' board has been updated about the security and they have expressed satisfaction with arrangements made in India.

He further made it clear that the players dictating terms like this is just not acceptable and players not showing up will not be an issue as only 4 international players were allowed and there is a lot of talent and opportunity for young ones.
