Baramati (Maharashtra), Oct 9 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday criticized his opponents for politicizing the issue of the ceasefire violations by Pakistan along the International Border and the Line of Control
(LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir.

Speaking at a rally here, Prime Minister Modi said, "Our jawans at the border are sacrificing their lives for the country and you are politicizing such issues. Polls will come and go; governments will come and go but one must not politicize issues of peace and security."

"Bahadur jawano ne sahi sahi jawab de diya hai (Our brave jawans have given the right answer)," the Prime Minister added.

Pakistan i troops, firing along the International Border last night, injured eight persons, including three BSF jawans.

Almost the whole stretch of the International Border including Samba, Hiranagar, Ramgarh, Arnia, RS Pura, Kanachak and Pargwal was affected by the firing. (ANI)
