Robbie WilliamsLondon, Dec 22 : British pop star Robbie Williams is reportedly holding a bedside vigil for his mother as she recovers from a major heart surgery.

The singer is said to have flown back to his native Britain from his home in Los Angeles to be with his mother Jan, 67, before she underwent heart bypass surgery at a private hospital in Cheshire, England.

Jan is believed to be in "critical but stable" condition in an intensive care ward following the procedure.

And the former Take That star is praying for his mother''s quick recovery as he prepares to spend Christmas Day in the hospital with her.

London, December 19 : Robbie Williams has revealed that he would love to shake a leg on the next series of Britain's TV show `Strictly Come Dancing.'

The 15-time BRIT Award-winning singer, who began his career as a member of the pop band `Take That' in 1990, which he left in 1995 to begin his solo career, said he would be ready with his moves to woo the audience by the end of 2009.

"You can expect me on Celebrity Come Dancing towards the end of summer next year," the Mirror quoted him as saying.

The 34-year-old songwriter admitted on his website that he was at the end of his tether to leave LA and get back to his native England despite its characteristic weather.

Williams, 34, who recently bought a 7million pounds historic Wiltshire mansion in Britain, has been living in LA for five years, but he now wants to shift base and be with the band again.

"I''d love to be in the band again," the Sun quoted him as saying.

"I''d like to think we''d be the only band in the history of music to get together because of artistic differences," he said.

Williams will hire jet skis and go on a 35-mile trip with his mates to spot sea-dwelling extra-terrestrials.

The journey will take him from an LA marina to the island of Santa Catalina off the California coast.

Wilkes, who met Williams at their hometown Stoke in October, revealed that the former ‘Take That’ member was nearly done with the album, and was putting the finishing touches to his latest material.

“He''s on really good form. He''s enjoying his time off and he''s looking forward to releasing new material next year. You can''t keep a good man down for long!” the Mirror quoted him as saying.
