Bangladesh vice-captain Mashrafe Mortaza claimed that he was presented with an
offer of Rs 10 crore by the Indian Cricket League (ICL). However, he rejected the offer.
Speaking with reporters, the all-rounder said, “I turned down an offer of Rs.10 crore from the ICL authority. I had been offered Rs.8 crore before it was raised to Rs.10 crore.”
“Money is important and no doubt all professional players play for money. But in my opinion for a player's first priority should be his country,” he added.
