The Queen of Pop beat British rockers `The Verve', whose video of `Love Is Noise' followed behind in popularity on the social networking site.

Meanwhile, Blur frontman Damon Albarn too had a reason to raise a toast, with his animated band Gorillaz becoming the most popular on the Internet, reports the Daily Express.

London, December 24 : Madonna reportedly snubbed a festive family get together to meet her divorce lawyer after arriving in England with kids.

The Queen of Pop was allegedly to return to ex-hubby Guy Ritchie's 12 million-pound country mansion in Wiltshire, England, to spend Christmas together as a family for the sake of their children.

However, the `Material Girl' hitmaker was said to have summoned a meeting with top attorney Fiona Shackleton while Guy took off with sons Rocco, aged eight, and adopted David, aged three, reports the Mirror.

London, December 23 : Madonna has reportedly shelled out 5,000 pounds to buy herself a bubbly wine laced with silver for Christmas.

The `Material Girl' hitmaker, who is presently locked in a bitter divorce settlement with ex-hubby Guy Ritchie, was said to have paid for 25 bottles of the sparkling Spanish drink.

"It's made by mixing a liquor containing silver dust into a sparkling rosé," the Sun quoted Alberto Fernandez, director of Artesanos del Vino which produces 24K Silver in Valencia, as saying.

New York, Dec. 21 : Queen of pop Madonna is said to be having the time of her life in Brazil, where her `Sticky and Sweet' tour is taking place.

She has reportedly hooked up with a hot male model, whose name is Jesus Luz.

"She was very interested in him," the New York Post quoted sources as telling Glamurama. com. br.

The singer was so interested in Luz that she invited him to join her tour in Sao Paolo, which he gladly accepted.

New York, Dec 20: Madonna has reportedly signed paperwork to adopt a four-year-old girl from Malawi - the home country of her adopted son David.

Star Magazine has learnt that the 50-year-old singer will fly to Malawi with Alex Rodriguez to adopt the child.

"She''s hoping to bring the toddler home by early next year," a source told Star Magazine.

According to the New York Daily News, the singer will fly to Malawi to pick up the girl, Mercy James, whose grandparents are unable to care for her.

London, Dec 19 : `Santa Baby' by Madonna and `Wonderful Christmas Time' by Sir Paul McCartney have made the list of `The 10 worst Christmas Songs Ever'.

Santa Baby became a huge hit when it was first recorded by Eartha Kitt in 1953, but Madge's version soon became one the least favourite festive songs.

Macca may be a living legend, but `Wonderful Christmas Time' was not one of his best pieces of work, reports the Daily Star.

Bruce Springsteen's `Santa Claus Is Coming To Town' and `Mistletoe And Wine' by Ciff Richard were also included in the list.
