After appearing in the character of a police officer in films like Lady Police, Lady Commissioner and Bhavani IPS, the talented actress is now been seen in the cop’s uniform in her recently released flick Kiran Bedi. Don’t get mistaken by the name of the flick as the film is in no way related to super cop Kiran Bedi and her name is been used just for inspiration.
NOIDA (UP), Mar. 23 : Ramon Magsaysay Awardee and former Indian Police Service officer Dr. Kiran Bedi has expressed her concern over the status quo being perpetuated in the legal and judiciary systems of the country, and called on students pursuing law to be agents of change.
"We are still resisting change in the judicial and legal framework of the country. We can achieve meaningful democracy only when we keep on evolving and stop being stagnant," she said.
