Washington, Dec 5 : American actor Johnny Depp and American film director Tim Burton are teaming up once again for the big-screen adaptation of the popular Gothic soap opera Dark Shadows.

Hollywood producer Richard D. Zanuck has confirmed rumours that the duo, whose next project Alice in Wonderland is slated for release in 2010, will be making their eighth film together.

“I''m doing next summer - with Tim Burton and Johnny Depp - Dark Shadows, which is an old ''70s soap opera (that aired) here in the United States,” Contactmusic quoted Zanuck as telling Collider. com.

London, Dec 4 : Hollywood actor Johnny Depp is all set to make a flick based on the book ‘In The Hand Of Dante’, which tells the story of an author, who is charged with proving the authenticity of a stolen manuscript of Dante''s work.

The flick will show the journey of an author around the world – in DaVinci code style – in a bid to prove the authenticity of the manuscript.

The ‘Private Resort’ actor has not only bought the rights to the flick via his production company Infinitum Nihil, he will also adapt, produce and act in the flick.

The book, written by Nick Tosches, also jumps back in time to show Dante trying to finish the epic poem.

London, Dec 1 : Sir Roger Moore''s memoirs are set to be turned into a Hollywood biopic with Johnny Depp slated to play the James Bond actor.

Two top US production companies are rumoured to be battling for the screen rights of Moore''s autobiography “My Word Is My Bond”.

The book details Moore''s exploits with his co-stars including Elizabeth Taylor and Lana Turner in the 1950s and 1960s.

“The two production companies’ interest in Sir Roger was heightened after they read the tales of his Hollywood exploits,” the Daily Express quoted a source, as saying.
