Washington, Feb 18 : Unlike her glamorous image on stage, pop singer Cher likes to keep her home life low-key.

The 62-year-old actress, who is in Las Vegas for a glitzy concert, is living the lifestyle quite opposite than the city offers.

She's staying out of the casinos, refraining from drinking, doesn''t smoke and prefers to stay away from the all-night party scene.

"I like to go out, do my work and then come home," Fox News quoted her as saying.

Washington, January 18 : Cher is in talks to star in writer-producer Ricky Blitt's `The Drop Out', according to reports.

The Oscar-winning actress was said to be preparing to make a movie with Johnny Knoxville while the Farrelly brothers'' may produce the feature.

The "Stuck on You" star, who last paired with Knoxville in 2005, will reportedly star in the comedy that tells the story of "a lonely
62-year-old who takes up with her 35-year-old ne''er-do-well neighbour".

Washington, Dec 11 : Singer Cher reportedly used her time off following the scrapping of Las Vegas show to launch a charity mission for orphans in South Asia.

The 62-year-old singer axed a number of gigs at the Colosseum at Caesar''s Palace in October (08) owing to her illness from an allergy related to Sin City''s winds.

But when doctors asked her to cancel a series of concerts, she agreed, but rather then taking rest, the singer flew off to Nepal to help children in need.
