Washington, Apr. 27 : President Barack Obama does not have swine flu, White House aides have said.

The all clear on his medical condition came after rumors that he had acquired it during his recent trip to Mexico.

Since his visit on April 16, the virulent flu has struck over 1,000 peeple, killing nearly 70 of them, including one person the President met at a museum.

"His doctors have advised him that his trip to Mexico has not put his health in any danger," said spokesman Josh Earnest.

Washington, Apr. 27 : The Obama administration is quietly pushing forward with efforts to reopen channels of communication with Cuba, according to White House and State Department officials.

A New York Times report quoted officials as saying that informal meetings were being planned between the State Department and Cuban diplomats in the United States to determine whether the two governments could open formal talks on a variety of issues, including migration, drug trafficking and other regional security matters.

London, Apr 25 : Britain''s Got Talent star Susan Boyle has now got a song penned in her honour by the Corrigan Brothers, who had written `There's No-one As Irish As Barack Obama'.

The Corrigan Brothers' song was played at the US President's inauguration party, and now they have repeated the trick for Boyle, 48, by recording `There's No-one As Irish As Susan Boyle'.

Boyle's parents are Irish and a practicing Christian, and the song was written to similarly celebrate her roots.

According to The Washington Times, the American leader will have to long for his souped-up smartphone for a little while, and has instead been forced to use an ungainly hybrid.

As for the reason why it is so: the National Security Agency still needs a few months to test out its replacement: a souped-up BlackBerry 8830 equipped with software called SecurVoice made by Washington, D. C.-based The Genesis Key, Inc, reports FOX News.
