Pak asks India to explain its role in terror activities inside its territoryIslamabad, Nov. 6 : Pakistan has once again raked up the issue of India’s alleged hand in terror activities inside its territory, saying New Delhi must explain its role in promoting terrorism in the country, The Daily Times reports.

Responding to Indian Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao’s remarks, the Pakistan Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson said: “India must explain its own conduct in sponsoring and abetting terrorism and militancy in our region.”

Earlier, Rao had urged the international community to pressurise Islamabad to ‘implement its commitment to deal with terror groups.’

Rao had also expressed concerns over the safety of Pakistan’s nuclear establishments.

Referring to the suicide bomb attack near the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex in Kamra, which reportedly houses some of the country''''s nuclear assets, Rao said New Delhi hopes that the authorities in Islamabad would ensure the safeguarding of its nuke assets to prevent any untoward incident in the future.

“What I want to say on the issue is that we hope that the Pakistan Government will continue to take steps to effectively secure their nuclear assets,” Rao had said. (ANI)
