P&G Board To Consider Dividend On August 24
A board meeting of Procter & Gamble Hygiene & Health Care will be held on Aug. 24, 2007 to think about dividend recommendation for the year ended Jun, 30, 2007.
The company recorded a sharp drop in net earnings for the quarter ended March 2007. During the quarter, the company witnessed fall in profit to Rs 214.10 million as against Rs 265.40 million in the same period of the last year (2006).
For the same period, the sales climbed 8.88% to Rs 1,229.20 million, compared with the corresponding quarter, a year ago.
At the same meeting, the company’s board shall also mull over and sanction the annual accounts of the company for the year.
Shares of the company were last trading up Rs 20.15, or 2.64%, at Rs 782.80. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE was 71.
