Nokia 5730 XpressMusic Phone To Hit Market By April 2009Engadget mobile shows off Nokia’s highly-anticipated forthcoming 5730 XpressMusic phone.

The phone, which sticks to a regular design for Nokia smartphones, sports a slide out QWERTY keyboard, a traditional numeric keypad, a 2 inch display with a 240 x 320 resolution together with some dedicated external music controls with volume control buttons.

The slider of the XpressMusic phone zips out smoothly letting users to input text without any difficulty.

The website reports that the Nokia 5730 is likely to run on Nokia’s S60 3rd Edition and its main focus is on music.

Moreover, the phone has a button permitting users to access Nokia’s ‘Say and Play’ navigation feature easily.

The phone comes packed with a 3.2 megapixel camera integrated with LED flash, a Carl Zeiss lens and auto focus features. It also has headphones that can be connected via a 3.5 mm stereo jack.

Powered by a lithium-ion 1000mAh, the Nokia 5730 also has the following features including a FM radio tuner with RDS support, 8-channel equalizer, microSD memory card slot apparently expandable up to 32 GB, mini USB ports, integrated 140 MB storage and 128 MB virtual memory.

Donning red or blue colours, the phone can offer a talktime up to 4.5 hours and a standby time up to 270 hours.

According to the website, the Nokia 5730 XpressMusic phone is expected to hit markets in April 2009 for an expected price of $285 (Approx Rs 14,000).
