India, PakistanLahore, Jun. 7 : The water dispute between India and Pakistan could trigger a nuclear war between both countries, Nazria Pakistan Trust Chairman Majid Nizami has said.

Addressing delegates at the foundation stone laying ceremony of Aiwan-e-Quaid-e-Azam at Johar Town, Nizami blamed India for cutting off important water supply routes to Pakistan by constructing dams on rivers in Kashmir.

Indian student claims drug addicts torched his car in Melbourne

AustraliaMelbourne, June 7 : A car belonging to an Indian student was torched in Melbourne on Saturday night, but the police have ruled out any racial motive behind the incident.

According to 22-year-old Vikrant Rajesh Ratan, along with his car, two other cars, also belonging to Indians, were damaged.

"We were sleeping when it all happened. We heard the fire alarm of the car. When we went out to see what happened we saw the cars on fire," Ratan claimed, adding that drug addicts may first tried to unlock the car, and on not being able to do, set it on fire using petrol.

Obama clears air on alleged snub of Sarkozys

According to Fox News, the British press reported the supposed declined invite was payback to Sarkozy for failing to invite Queen Elizabeth to the D-Day ceremony and a sign of continuing tension between the United States and France.

Obama, however, insisted that his lack of personal time spent with Sarkozy was not a snub.

London, June 7 : Move over floral, musky smells. Perfume makers have now captured scents from cricket grounds, including the changing rooms, cricket bats and kit, as well as from the cabins of ocean-going yachts.

“We are looking for modern smells that have never been used in fragrances before but which have strong associations with activities that people enjoy or respect,” The Times quoted Will Andrews, a fragrance scientist at Procter & Gamble (P&G), which makes perfumes by Hugo Boss, Dolce & Gabbana and Lacoste, as saying.

However, a series of studies involving brain imaging techniques such as functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) has changed history, as distinct differences between the brains of people in pain and others who are not have been shown.
