New Delhi [India], Sept.21 : Emirates has revamped its corporate loyalty programme, Emirates Business Rewards, to provide greater value and added features for customers.

The new programme has been simplified and made more competitive to allow for easier redemptions and upgrades even on last minute bookings.

One of the biggest features in the newly improved programme is the ability to use Business Rewards Points to book any commercially available seat at any time giving members cash-like convenience.

Emirates is the first and only airline in the region to offer such flexibility as part of its corporate loyalty programme - improving cost-effectiveness for business travel.

Old age home residents are given sedatives to control their behaviour, reveals study

London [England], Sept.21 : A recent study has revealed that elderly care home residents are routinely being given dangerous 'chemical cosh' drugs to keep them sedated.

Despite a supposed crackdown on the use of the controversial pills, one in five is being given antipsychotics to control their behaviour and keep them calm.

According to a Daily Mail report, more than three quarters of the prescriptions were 'excessive' on these drugs.

The study stated that residents were often kept on the drugs for far longer than the recommended six weeks, and in some cases until they died.

Antipsychotics are tranquillizers which are meant to be given to schizophrenia patients to prevent hallucinations.

George Clooney feels 'very sorry' about 'Brangelina' divorce news

Washington D.C. [USA], Sept. 21 : Like any close friend would, George Clooney is reacting sadly to the news of Brad Pitt being filed for divorce.

The 55-year-old actor and activist was at the United Nations, attending a round-table with President Barack Obama on the refugee crisis, when a CNN reporter approached him to ask about his close friends' new relationship status, reports E! Online.

"I didn't know that. I feel very sorry then. That's a sad story and unfortunate for a family," he shared.

"It's an unfortunate story about a family. I feel very sorry to hear that. That's the first I've heard of it," the 'The Descendants' star added in surprise.

Chris Pratt taking six months off to be with family

Washington D.C. [USA], Sept. 21 : American actor, Chris Pratt has decided to rest after more than a year of being "on the road."

In a recent interview, the 37-year-old actor said he is taking some time to be with his family after doing three movies back-to-back, reports People magazine.

"I've been on the road for 14 months-I did three movies back to back to back-so I'm taking six months off," the 'Guardians of the Galaxy' star said.

Pratt recently spent the summer with his family that includes 39-year-old wife, Anna Faris, who is also an actress and three-year-old son, Jack.

This time too, the family man tells of his plan to take the family back to the summer's beach.
