New Delhi [India], Oct 28 : With plans to tap the increasing demand for its services and expand its effective reach, Load24x7, India's first mobile-driven freight aggregation platform is now on a recruitment spree.

The pioneer in its realm has announced plans to hire 100 new employees in 100 smart cities by next six to 12 months which will not only help to generate employment also to increase its product portfolio and effectively expand its network across India. Load24x7 will be hiring experienced employees across key divisions such as technology and management.

Vit D supplements for preggers should be customised for ensuring the effects

New Delhi [India], Oct. 28 : Vitamin D supplements are less effective at raising vitamin D levels in pregnant women if they deliver their babies in the winter, have low levels of vitamin D early in pregnancy or gain more weight during pregnancy, a new Southampton study has shown.

The findings showed pregnant women respond differently to vitamin D supplementation depending on their individual attributes.

The University of Southampton researchers suggest that supplement levels should be tailored according to individual risk factors.

Pak business honchos ready to suspend trade with India

Karachi [Pakistan], Oct. 28 : The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) has said it would consider suspending trade with India if the tense situation between the two neighbours shows no signs of abating.

FPCCI president Abdul Rauf Alam was quoted by the Dawn, as saying that Pakistan has no compulsions of any sort to continue business or trade relations with India under the current hostile conditions.

Alam said the Pakistani business community is united to take any decision.

This comes as relations between Pakistan and India hit a new low on Thursday after New Delhi and Islamabad decided to expel officials posted in each other's diplomatic missions on charges of espionage.

Yavatmal's Nilay Naik deserts NCP, joins BJP

Mumbai [India], Oct.28 : The Sharad Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) lost another prominent leader to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday in the shape of Nilay Naik, the grandson of former union minister and Maharashtra Chief Minister Vasantraoji Naik and the nephew of Sudhakarrao Naik.

Naik was offered a bouquet by BJP state president Raosaheb Danve, who congratulated him for trusting the leadership of Prime Minister Narendraji Modi, Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari and Maharashtra Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis.

Nilay Naik served a term as Zilla Parishad president of Yavatmal from 1992-1997. He also previously held various senior posts in the NCP like spokesperson, state general secretary and was observer for various districts in Maharashtra.

India's challenge at French Open ends, Sindhu, Prannoy crash out

Paris [France], Oct.28 : India's hopes at the ongoing French Open Super Series ended after Olympic silver medallist P.V Sindhu and Swiss Open champion H.S Prannoy suffered a straight-games defeat at the hands of their respective opponents here last evening.

World No.8 Sindhu failed to replicate her recent good performances and eventually went down 20-22, 17-21 against HE Bingjiao of China in the second-round women's singles contest that lasted 41 minutes.

Meanwhile, Prannoy made a strong start against fifth-seeded Chou Tien Chen , but capitulated under pressure to end up suffering a 19-21, 16-21 loss in the pre-quarter-final contest that lasted 42 minutes.
