Police has said that a passenger train slammed into a truck in Edmonton, Alberta, during a snowstorm Tuesday, killing a man and his young daughters.

The Canadian Broadcasting Corp. has reported the girls were sisters in the second and fourth grades though the names of the victims were not released. No injuries were reported aboard the Via Rail train, which sustained minor damage.

Ghulam Nabi Azad, health minister on Tuesday said that after Ketan Desai's arrest by CBI, MCI creditability is under suspicion and government must take appropriate steps to regain its integrity and reliability for regulating medical education in the country. Government has to ensure that this body will be working in a fair and transparent manner.

Azad replied to the calling motion in Rajya Sabha on MCI, that there should be a body like national council for human resources in health which should be responsible for everything.
