Copper ended lower on worries about the long-term effectiveness of the euro-zone bailout package. Inventories of copper stored in LME warehouses fell 1,075 metric tons, leaving them at 486,375. The most recent Comex inventory data, released late Tuesday afternoon, were unchanged at 101,220 short tons. Copper has touched a low of Rs 314.7 a kg after opening at Rs 318.05, and last traded at Rs317.35.For today market is looking for the support at 313.5, a break below could see a test of 309.6 and where as resistance is now likely to be seen at 322.5, a move above could see prices testing 327.7.

A better package awaits the users of cable TV provider Virgin Media, as it soon will be offering its subscribers an optimum offer on the pay TV premium sports channels from BSkyB.

It appears to be a reformation that occurred after an amendment made by the regulator Ofcom, which made the cable provider BSkyB cut the wholesale cost of Sky Sports 1 and 2.

India’s leading Textile products manufacturer Shri Lakshmi Cotsyn has announced its fourth quarter financial results for the fiscal year 2009-10 and has managed to post an impressive net profit.

The firm has posted a net profit of Rs 25.40 crore for the quarter that ended on 31st March, 2010. It was reported as Rs 15.65 for the fourth quarter last year. This net profit figure has been 62.30% up as compared to the same quarter in the preceding year.

Chinese handset maker, ZTE said on Wednesday that it has failed to meet the security requirements of Indian government. This, it said, was told by the operators.

This failure may stop the company from selling its products in India and that may deny it the opportunity of competing in the second fastest growing mobile handset market of India.

ZTE supplies network gears to the Indian players. The whole issue started after India started to check the hardware of mobile citing security as the motive.
