Niall Horan promises 'One Direction' 'will be back'

Washington D.C. [USA], Nov. 30 : Not all hope is lost for One Directioners as it seems the boys will return sooner or later, following a hiatus after the release of their fifth album last year.

' One Direction' member Niall Horan told a British paper that the band " will be back. We would be silly not to.ridiculous," confirming rumors that the band's extended break will not be permanent, reports People magazine.

The 23-year-old singer has spent his free time establishing himself as a solo artist, and released his first single, 'This Town' in September.

At a recent red carpet event in Los Angeles, Horan said that his bandmates were "all doing [their] own thing.I don't think anyone needs to worry about us - we are fine."

Washington D.C. [USA], Nov.30 : Planning to quit smoking? Then do it before you turn 70.

A new study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine, found that people aged 70 or older currently smoking were more than three times more likely to die than never-smokers, while former smokers were less likely to die the sooner they quit.

In the U.S., the number of individuals aged 70 years and older is expected to increase from 29.2 million (9.3 percent of the population) in 2012, to 63.6 million individuals (15.9percent) in 2050.

Zimbabwe's Brian Vitori's bowling action again comes under scanner

Bulawayo [Zimbabwe], Nov.30 : Zimbabwe left-arm seamer Brian Vitori has been reported of suspect bowling action during his side's six-wicket defeat in the tri-series final against Sri Lanka at the Queens Sports Club here on Sunday.

The match officials, who handed the report to the Zimbabwe team, cited doubts about the legality of Vitori's deliveries in the finals of the tri-series, which also featured West Indies.

The 26-year-old will now have get his action tested at an ICC accredited centre within two-weeks duration.

He, however, would be allowed to continue bowling in the international cricket until the results of the test are known.

Pakistan to soon set up world's largest solar park

Islamabad [Pakistan], Nov.30 : Pakistan will soon have the world's largest solar park of 1,000 megawatts, the country's Minister of Climate Change Zahid Hamid has said.

Addressing a press conference here, Hamid briefed them about Pakistan's participation in the COP22 Conference in Morocco recently, which provided an opportunity to highlight the significant achievements made by the country to address the impact of climate change, reports the Express Tribune.

Hamid said the world community was informed that Pakistan's contribution to global warming was minimal as "we emit less than one percent of the annual global greenhouse gas emissions. Yet we are ranked amongst the top 10 countries that are most vulnerable to climate change."

Shakira's sons steal the show at Gerard Pique's award ceremony in Barcelona

The Pique brothers stole the show when their father was named the 'Best Catalan Player' of the season. The ceremony took place in Barcelona and he accepted the award with his entire family on stage, Reports E! Online.
