Lady Gaga has 'perfect addition' to her puppy family

Washington D.C. [USA], Nov. 23 : Lady Gaga recently announced a very "proud" welcome to a new member in the "JOANNE" family.

The 30-year-old pop star took to Instagram to give her fans the news of a third puppy added to her loving mix.

"I'm proud to announce we added a new member to the #JOANNE family I haven't named him yet but I call him both cowpig and moopig in the meantime!," introduced the proud mama.

She also added, "I chose him last moment because my best friend since I was 4 @booconnor Chef extraordinaire of @thepomeroynyc bought him, we didn't want them to be separated!"

The 'Million Reasons' singer went on to add another picture of the cute, young French bulldog, writing, "He is so precious and the perfect addition to our three little piggies."

At first, the 73-year-old actor put a reassuring arm around 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' host who appeared grateful for the support. Then as she leaned into him, he planted a sweet kiss on the side of her head.

Toxic amphibian defenses at higher risk of extinction

Washington D.C. [USA], Nov. 23 : A recent study published in the journal Royal Society Open Science, found that amphibians which use poisonous defenses are more likely to get extinct than other species.

Research published by a Swansea University scientist has suggested amphibians which have a toxic defence against predators such as the iconic poison dart frogs have a much higher risk of extinction than species which use other types of defence mechanisms.

The key finding of Dr Kevin Arbuckle's latest study is that poisonous species are 60 percent more likely to be threatened than species without chemical defences.

Amphibians are usually considered the most threatened group of vertebrate animals and are experiencing population declines globally, raising conservation challenges.

Parthiv Patel to replace Wriddhiman Saha in Mohali Test

New Delhi [India], Nov. 23 : Wicketkeeper-batsman Parthiv Patel, who last appeared in Test matches in 2008 against Sri Lanka, will replace injured Wriddhiman Saha in the third Test of the ongoing five-match series against England to be played in Mohali commencing November 26.

Patel has earned a recall to India's Test team as Saha, who developed a strain in his left thigh during the Visakhapatnam Test, has been advised rest by the BCCI medical team.

The 31-year-left hander, who made his Test debut in 2002 against England, has so far played 20 Tests for the national side in which he has scored 683 runs at an average of 29.69.

FBI closes child abuse investigation into Brad Pitt with 'no charges'

Washington D.C. [USA], Nov. 23 : Brad Pitt has officially steered clear of investigation made by the 'Federal Bureau of Investigation' concerning an alleged child abuse a couple of months ago.

The FBI is no longer investigating the 52-year-old actor regarding his involvement in an alleged incident with a child aboard a private plane on September 15, reports E! Online.

A statement released by an FBI spokesperson reads, "In response to allegations made following a flight within the special aircraft jurisdiction of the United States which landed in Los Angeles carrying Mr. Brad Pitt and his children, the FBI has conducted a review of the circumstances and will not pursue further investigation."

Adding, "No charges have been filed in this matter."
