Appeal against Lalu's acquittal in DA case maintainable: Patna HC

Patna, Sept 20 The Patna High Court today said that a Bihar Government's petition challenging the acquittal of Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav and his wife Rabri Devi in a disproportionate assets (DA) case was maintainable.

Justice Ramesh Kumar Datta, who had earlier reserved his order on the maintainability of the petition, fixed September 24 as the next date for the case.

Their invention, known as an exoskeleton, can support much of the weight of a heavy backpack and transfer that weight directly to the ground, effectively taking a load off the back of the person wearing the device.
